App reports IP Address was not detected

This message indicates that the device was not able to obtain an IP address from your router. Please note that the Gro Controller requires that your router have DHCP turned on. The Gro Controller does not support static IP addressing. 

  1. Make sure Router has DHCP server setting turned on.
  2. Reboot the router.
  3. Reboot the Controller. Be sure to leave it unplugged for at least 30 seconds.
